I've fallen ill with the flu or some sort of fever/weakness/sore throat bug. I didn't get a good nights sleep and have had to take the day off work. Not good.
I had a weird dream that I couldn't do a #2 properly on the toilet. I proceeded to go to bed, only to be scooping huge chunks of pineapple out of my bum half way through the night. I'll take this opportunity to remind you that this is a dream I'm talking about here!

Last night/this morning was a strange one. I dreamt that my arm has been chopped off just above the elbow. I was in hospital trying to find the doctor in a library full of them. Eventually my arm was frozen and it was sewn back on. All very strange.
Snoozing this morning.
I was at some sort of New Year's celebration but it was sort of like Notting Hill Carnival. Anyway, I was talking to a girl I know when I little boy came along and started to hassle her. I pushed him away and we carried on talking.
A short while later an open back pick-up comes past full of middle aged London gangster types. They start hassling me for pushing their kid away. They chase me, eventually to their boss. He asks where I was from - I reply Liverpool - and he asks what gang am I from? We have a disagreement as he really is adamant I am part of a gang. Eventually he lets me go.
A while later they appear again and I decide to go home to avoid the confrontation. My brother is now with me, and we head into a tube station. They manage to catch him, and almost catch me before I realise he is missing.
Then I woke up.

A very disturbed nights sleep last night. Lots of dreams.
A friends house mates had just left to start a long journey. They returned shortly after to collect some things they had forgotten (this part actually happened), whilst one of them was finding things I ran out of the house in just my boxer shorts and put my head through their car window and asked them if they would like a cup of tea whilst they were waiting? They said they do not drink tea. I do not drink tea. (the second half definitely didn't happen!)
I was at a party and was waiting for some CDs to be delivered. The party came to an end and I asked a friend if they knew whether the CDs had been dropped off? They said that they had and gave them to me, commenting that the guy that had dropped them off was cool. I was amazed and started shouting "WHAT?! Andy Partridge from XTC was HERE?! AT THIS PARTY?!" They said yes and said he'd only just gone, so I ran down many flights of stairs after him. I exited the building and all my friends were already outside, pointing and ordering me down the road. They walked with me until we had to cross a large road. At this point we were greeted by a group of bizarre circus midgets that all looked the same - they were juggling and standing on each others shoulders. They were also slobbering and had crooked teeth. I walked past them and through a large iron door that was full of oil and grease. Through the door was the room where the party that we had earlier was, and inside an old work mate and friend that I have not seen for years. He greeted me and was pleased I could meet his mother. The only thing is there were three other people in the room - a white man and woman and an indian looking woman. They all simultaneously said "Happy Birthday!" in a really spooky way. I looked around and there were "Happy Birthday" signs on the walls. I said "It's not my Birthday".
I've been having lots of strange dreams lately. I'm betting it's the winter drawing close and my mind racing that has caused them.
One involved having some sort of strange meeting with a guy form work. he's one of the people who never go out for drinks after work.
Another had me looking at lots of fish tanks containing strange things, the one that sticks out the most was that containing a 1970s style frilly lamp shade.
The last was me having a bit of relations with a woman from work.

I woke up with Junior Boys "Teach Me How To Fight" in my head this morning. I know how to fight, though it has been a long time.

Today I woke up with Kim Wilde's "Kids In America" in my head. How very strange.

After two weeks on holiday without my iPod, I woke up this morning with The Trash Can Sinatras "Welcome Back" in my head. Welcome back, indeed.

I've been in Japan for the past two weeks, so not much dreaming going on. Not much sleeping going on for that matter - too busy living it up.
Anyway, on the plane back I had a bizarre dream where I was the official decision maker saying how many hours Britain was behind Japan. I thought nine, plus one for BST, but there was this guy in the dream arguing with me that it was ten. Of course, it's eight.

I happy, because today I woke up with The Blue Nile's "Because of Toledo" in my head. More words than I thought I new, which is great because it means the new album is Very Good. It's official - my mind says so!
